I believe that homework is important because it is a valuable aid in helping students make the most of their experience in school: teaching responsibility, developing positive study habits & preparing for upcoming lessons. This being said, I understand the tight time tables that most families today juggle.
I will do my best to give adequate time to complete work in school, however, there will be times when students will need to commit time to finish work at home. There will also be times throughout the year when longer-term projects may be worked on at home. There will always be sufficient time to complete these assignments and I will communicate my expectations clearly when assigning such work.
Daily reading will be expected a minimum of 15 minutes per day!
