Dear parents,
On Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 our class will join the Intermediate Department at the Chilliwack Cultural Center to watch a musical.
We have an opportunity to visit the Chilliwack Archives on our way back to explore how the history of our city informs current and future issues we face as a community. To accomodate this addition to our field trip, Grade 5/6 will return to school on foot walking 9291 Corbould St, Chilliwack to Highroad (approximately 3 km).
I will send permission slips home today. Please return permission slips tomorrow. Students without an updated permission form will not be permitted to participate.
I would really appreciate parent support on the second half of the field trip. If you are available to meet us for lunch in the park, visit the archives and the return walk to school please email me directly. (I can give you a ride back to the start point after dismissal if needed.)
