Dec. 14th-17th

Dear grade 6 community,

My students have made it to the end of another week that brings us oh so close to Christmas break, not that I am counting! Students prayed in earnest Monday that their peer would have safe travels abroad and today we received word he has landed safely, praise the Lord! In this season, we keep seeking miracles big and small and look to the light.

Next week we will keep to the classroom routine for the most part with the exception of a few changes mainly on Thursday. To wrap up 2020 we will play minute to win it type games in class for our “party”. I plan to treat the kiddos to a snack influenced by the a strong theme in our current novel study, students will not need to bring snacks or christmas exchange gifts for the party. (Canceling the Christmas exchange may be a disappointment to some, if students want to bring gifts consider the Food Bank or Cyrus Centre please.)

The Christmas Concert video release date likely will be Dec. 17th and will be accessible through the school website.

Have a happy and safe long weekend!

Ms. Froyland
